Player Standards
CAPTAINS: The expectations of captains will be clearly defined for all players. Players that are interested in becoming a captain must apply by submitting a one page letter of intent to Coach before school gets out in June. Captains will be chosen at the conclusion of Training Camp. A player vote will be one of the criteria that Coach will use to determine his selection of captains. Team Captains are more than just a title in this program. They will meet regularly with the coaches and will have duties and responsibilities. They must be liaisons between the coaches and the players.
STRENGTH AND CONDITIONING PROGRAM: A Strength & Conditioning Program will begin in the off-season and will run right up until the season starts. We will also strength train throughout the season. OPTIONAL TEAM ACTIVITIES (OTA’S): Throughout the off-season, we will provide athletes with multiple opportunities to improve and prepare for the season. Examples of OTA’s include Summer Passing Leagues, 7 on 7 tournaments, and Lineman Challenges.
TEAM RULES: Being a member of this program is a privilege. Violation of school rules and / or the team rules outlined below could result in dismissal from the team.

TEAM RULES: Being a member of this program is a privilege. Violation of school rules and / or the team rules outlined below could result in dismissal from the team.
- Players are expected not to smoke, not to drink alcoholic beverages, and not to use illicit drugs of any kind. This includes attending parties or other gatherings where drugs or alcoholic beverages are being served, distributed or used. Any school imposed suspension is grounds for dismissal.
- Players are expected to attend all scheduled practices and games. The players who are at practice will play in the games. Players are expected to directly inform the Coach ahead of time if they will be unable to attend or will be tardy for practice. Football is a commitment and attendance at practice is vital for all team members.
- Players are expected to be fully responsible for the care and maintenance of equipment issued to them. If lost or stolen you are financially responsible and if all items are not returned before the banquet the player will not be able to attend.
- Players are expected to meet all academic responsibilities and to maintain a satisfactory academic record. Players should take advantage of team study halls to complete their work and / or get extra help from teachers. Coaches will always value academics over athletics.
- Players are expected to maintain an attitude conducive to team unity and sportsmanship. If a player is unhappy with his role on the team he should speak to his position coach, a captain, or the head coach directly. If necessary a meeting will be set up between the player and coaches.
COLLEGE RECRUITING: Coaches are very knowledgeable about the college recruiting process and will gladly help any player who wishes to play college football.
